We were clients of Verse Wealth and unfortunately chose to end our ongoing advisory arrangement after a disappointing service experience. Our original adviser departed, and while Verse introduced a new adviser and assured us the transition would be smooth, the overall experience did not feel seamless. We raised concerns about the level of service before and after the adviser change, particularly in the context of a proposed renewal and fee increase. To their credit, the team responded professionally and offered a discount, but we did not feel the proposed fees reflected the value or service experience we had received. Ultimately, we could not reach agreement on the ongoing fees and decided it was time to move on. Verse may be the right fit for others, but for us the combination of adviser transition, relationship challenges, and fee increase meant we no longer felt confident continuing the relationship.

We met with Verse Wealth after trying several other options for financial advice. As a female couple, we'd been finding it hard to get our need for financial independence or our personal wishes across in meetings with the usual advisers. Most advisers focused only on the money, joking about our ambitions for retirement and suggesting that it probably included the usual - luxury travel, cars or boats, golf. They showed a lack of curiosity about the meaning of retirement to us as individuals, and as a couple. It was like they weren't really listening. Then we met with Stevie-Jade at Verse. What a difference!! Suddenly we were talking to a person who has great interpersonal skills, real financial experience, broad knowledge, real expertise and great enthusiasm for her work. The vibe was zero ego-driven 'I'll make you lots of money' nonsense and all 'let's get to work for your future'. Stevie-Jade and Verse are making our future look brighter than we ever expected, but they're doing it with heart. They advise wisely for the future you really want to have. Honestly, this has been a life-changing process. They start by asking all about you as a person, your wishes, your hopes, your fears, before discussing your income, savings, assets or plans. They make sure you're seen and heard and genuinely cared for. And then they make your money work for you. I can't recommend them highly enough. Stevie-Jade in particular. What a star! Actually, five stars!

Firstly, I never give reviews, and for most of my life I've backed away from financial advisors, convinced they weren't worth the money and were frankly a rip-off. I now wish with all my heart that I had met Stuart and his team 25 years ago, because my life would have looked very different, and I would have been a far more financially savvy person for it. I cannot recommend Stuart and his team highly enough. Stuart Ruddick, Stevie-Jade Turner and Leslie Porcia have genuinely changed my life, and I mean that wholeheartedly. I came to Stuart knowing I had financial issues that kept me up at night, was being charged unnecessary fees from service providers, with a tax bill that was ridiculous - with no idea how to fix it. But with determination because I knew something was way off in my financial world, I found a team who are not only great at what they do, but whose values align completely with mine, truth, honesty, patience, and genuine kindness and alot of laughs along the way! And they work really hard for you offering real value for money. Stuart in particular is something else. He has a gift for anticipating every question before its even asked, as if he was reading my mind. He never once made me feel embarrassed about the state of things. He simply rolled up his sleeves, worked through it all with me, and guided me toward clarity and direction in what felt like no time at all. Stuart ensured my plan included the freedom to do the things that make me happy and continuing to do the things I love. When I'd forgotten to mention a couple of things that made a difference to my plan, not once, but a couple of times, he and the team calmly adjusted everything and reset without complaint. Their Smart Money system has been a revelation. I can budget, I know exactly where every dollar is going, and I still get to have fun with complete peace of mind! I've never felt so free, clear-headed and at peace and I've only just started! I can now focus entirely on working and building my fortunes, enjoying my life and knowing that my finances are safe and I'm being looked after by people who truly care. To be clear, I am in full and total control of my finances. Stuart and his team untangled the mess, set me up for success, and are there to advise me when I need them. There's still more to do, they've made me think about my Estate Planning, Insurances, etc, but I'm on my way, and I feel absolutely great!
