Fletcher & Butler Financial Planning is a husband and wife team of John Fletcher and Melissa Butler. John Fletcher started in the financial planning industry in 1993 and attained CFP® status in 2005. He completed the Diploma of Applied Science at Longerenong in 1986 and specialises in pre and post retirement planning. Melissa Butler has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, finished her Advanced Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning) in 2006, and completed the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) studies over the following two years. She is the Bendigo region's most experienced Aged Care Specialist.

Both John and Melissa completed the FASEA industry exam in 2020. Claire McLean is the office manager and has over 9 years in the financial planning industry, holds an MBA in Financial Planning and a Bachelor of Commerce, and has passed the Certified Financial Planner course and the FASEA industry exam. As Certified Financial Planners ® they must abide by the Financial Planning Association’s Code of Ethics and do continual studies. They personally write your plan and don't outsource it to someone in another country. They offer financial planning services with a focus on aged care and retirement planning.
