In 1987 my late husband had Hewisons set up his superannuation and in 2005 Hewisons set up our Self Managed superannuation fund. The care and expertise we have experienced working with John Hewison, Andrew Hewison and now for quite some years with Travis Schindler has been second to none. A high level of professional training is a hallmark of Hewison advisers. As well as relevant tertiary qualifications they have the gold star financial planning qualification CFP. They adamantly oppose trailing commissions and have developed effective, successful portfolios for us which are regularly reviewed. Travis Schindler always responds immediately to contacts, explains matters clearly, listens to my preferences and meets any requests for documents at once , He has been supportive not only of my financial needs but kindly and supportive about major life events. He and Andrew Hewison came to our house when my husband was too unwell to go in for a review and they both came to my husband’s funeral. I count him as a friend. My wife and I spent a lot of time researching financial advisers before choosing Hewison Private Wealth, and we’re so glad we did.
